All RELA Transcription factor p65 antibodies
RELA is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RELA gene. It is also known as Transcription factor p65 and is a REL-associated protein involved in NF-κB heterodimer formation, nuclear translocation and activation.
NF-κB is a transcription factor that plays a key role in regulating the immune response to infection and inflammation. It is composed of five subunits: p50 (NF-κB1), p52 (NF-κB2), RelA (p65), RelB, and c-Rel. The p50 and p65 subunits form the most common heterodimer in the NF-κB signaling pathway.
RELA/p65 is known to have a critical role in many fibrotic diseases. Inhibition of RelA/p65 has been shown to prevent tendon adhesion by modulating fibrogenic activity.
